Is MacroMath free?
Yes. You can count calories, macros, manage your pantry and track progress for free. Premium unlocks unlimited AI and automatic plans — see Plans & pricing.
What devices does it work on?
MacroMath is available on iOS and Android, with the same fast and fluid experience on both. See Get started to install it.
How does photo identification work?
Take a photo of the food or your receipt and the AI identifies the products and adds them automatically — to your diary for meals, or to your pantry for receipts. Details in Logging meals and Pantry and shopping.
Is my data safe?
Your data is private and used only to personalise your experience. You can export or delete it at any time. Read more about encryption and isolation in Security.
How are my macro targets calculated?
From your profile (goal, weight, height, age, sex, activity) using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, an activity factor and your goal — all deterministic and editable. The full math is in Macro calculation.
Does it work offline?
The essentials do. MacroMath keeps a local cache (Hive) so tracking works without a connection, and syncs when the network returns.
